Becuase we are not God. Only Jesus's body came back to life, and he walked the earth. Once I get to Heaven, it will be soooo awesome, I won't even want to come back to earth.

Well, in order to explain why us 'religious people' feel the need to believe there is no life after death...I must use the bible. But I will try not to.

Basically the only person that could ever come back to life was Jesus. He also raised people from the dead, but I think is different than what you are asking.

Once we die, and are in heaven, that is where our eternity is. To us, we are just passing by in this lifetime, awaiting the day to be in heaven. But we were also told to live while we are here, to not waste it away.

You can come back and let your love ones know your OK, but not always straight away. I know a lot of people will tell you what i am about to say is rubbish, but no one can prove me wrong, and i mean no one. Find a good medium, and i don't mean go by how much they charge, ask around, go to a spiritualist church, but if you get asked a question only answer yes or no, otherwise you give to much away. but what ever you do keep an open mind, it is the truth, and if you do what i say you will get the proof you need

In flesh we are not able to come back. Jesus did only because he Is God.

I do know that your spirit can come and vist I have been told of many people seeing past loved ones. But there is a way to see the loved ones that you have lost.

If you are a Christian, and there heart was true to God they will be in Heaven and you can see them when God comes again

If in heaven, why would you want to leave? It would be like leaving a lovingly prepared meal of your favourite food behind when you are starving.
You would know beyond all doubt that God cares for those on Earth and will look after them better than anything you could do. Also, you would know that those who you care for and also believe in God would be joining you in good time.

If you're in hell you're unlikely to be given a reprieve to say hello to your family.

Communication with the dead is not possible upon God's authority.

There are many deceiving spirits who know all about the dead as well as the living and who imitate the dead in order to deceive. They will keep you from the true knowledge of God.

That is why God forbids such attempts and such contact.

Communication with God is commanded. Why would you want to have contact with the dead when you can have contact with God Himself ? He, after all, does know all things !

Why do you want to drag someone back from bliss with Christ? You have your chance, your opportunities now, the same as they did.

But they do come back and tell us. I feel the love of my family who have passed all the time, it is something that is very natural and beautiful to me. I have also had many wonderful messages from my family via other mediums.

The Spirit world are there always, watching us, guiding us, loving us, we just have to allow them in.

A perfectly reasonable question. Deserves a perfectly reasonable answer.

Lets imagine for a moment that the kingdom of heaven exists, what precisely do you imagine? A spooky castle in space inhabited by thin creatures with eyes as big as satellite disks? Who has ever come back to tell us what form or substance it comprises? Is there a reliable testimony we can put our trust in that tells the truth about what it consists of?

Even if someone were to walk into a bar and say, 'hey guys, I've just come hot footed from heaven an' I wanna tell you it is not like you imagined...!' If anyone dares to talk about something that most people don't believe exists, what do you honestly think will be their response.. 'Oh yeah, wow, really? Tell us all about it, we believe every word you say.'

No. What you are asking is a visible sign of heaven. Something like a ghost who walks through walls and treads on water. The story about Jesus is very much a story about someone who did just that. He did all the right kind of stuff to give people visible signs but still, even in his own time, they didn't believe his testimony (And why should they make up a story about themselves not believing in the visible signs? It seems stupid to think that the stories about Jesus are a myth when the stories are really about the stupidity of people not believing in visible signs. Think about it)

So, in your current state of mind if someone were to return from the dead, would you really believe in such a proposterous idea? Even if he/she were to come back from the dead with an experience of the other kingdom, how would they prove it other than by doing some kind of miracle or impossible feat? - Even then, the cynic would say, 'aw, its a trick!'

What you're really saying is. I want to believe in this stuff but I need hard evidence. Tell me, what hard evidence do you need that will convince you of the kingdom of heaven? Then consider the next problem, how would you go about telling other people about the 'hard evidence' you had been given?

I had an experience of God on the 17th April 1974 that convinced me beyond doubt He exists but it's impossible to convince others by natural means. Few believe my story about being transformed from drug addiction to a new man in 12 hours. However, my sister who saw it with her own eyes, she believes.

If you want to see hard evidence there is one thing that has to happen first, rather like birth. Without birth there is no hard evidence for the existence of life. This is nothing to do with the circular chicken and egg argument but to do with a fundamental principle of logic. In order to 'see' you first have to believe he exists. For without belief, God can do nothing for you whatsoever and no hard evidence will ever appear until the first spiritual law is applied.

The ball is in your court, not in God's. He will prove himself to you (infact he has promised to do this on numerous occasions throughout the history of the most stubborn people on earth) but first you need to turn to him. It's called repentance - i.e. turning from your own wisdom and asking for his. Something that Israel STILL fails to do.

As a Witch, I believe we get re-incarnated, so there is no 'heaven' and we don't remember our past lives (normally).
