hell no. its too dangerous nowadays. too much of a risk, i dont care how nice they seem, there has to be something in it for them. if they're genuine by some freak chance, they'll understand my reasons for turning down the drink.

Sure thing. As long as they don't handle it first.

It's my general rule that if I am buying a drink for a lady at a bar, I order it from the waitress to give to the lady. For one that removes any suspicions of drugging, and two I believe it is a courteous gesture to allow the lady to choose whether she wishes to become conversive with me or just keep to herself.

I'd be careful if someone is just handing you a drink, could be all sorts of bad mojo drugs in it. But if the waitress(er) brings you the drink I say why not.

A stranger is someone you don't know, why would they buy you a drink? I would be very cautious , thus , I would not accept the drink and simply thank the person for their effort.

Not unless I had spoken to them first & felt that I wanted to talk to them. I would expect them to ask me if I would like to join them for a drink. I would watch the drink being poured & I wouldn't leave it unattended. If a barman brought a drink to me at my table & said that someone at the bar had bought it for me I would decline it politely. (In spite of what other have said, I feel that the drink could still be tampered with.)

usually not.but if i did,i would have to stand at the bar and watch the drink being poured and accept it straight off the bartender and not the stranger.

I would never take a drink that someone handed me, but if the bartender told me a drink was paid by someone else, then I would.
