I am helping at KPCC 89.3 Los Angeles tomorrow, then going home to New Orleans to see family and help out with Habitate for Humanity. I do this for both other people and me. How about you? Have a good holiday..

Yay, that sounds like relaxing. i'm so satisfied you're unlikely to be on my own! i'll have my childrens for christmas for the 1st time in 3 years, with a purpose to do relaxing and much less costly relatives stuff. we've been reducing snowflakes, adorning fall leaves for the tree, and making plans our menu for the trip trips for the previous 2 weeks. Oh, cleansing and rearranging, too. lol This 365 days we will bake up a hurricane - and chocochip cookies are on the right of the record. that's what i % for christmas - an I-pod! i'm dying without music!

I volunteer a lot of my time to the church and the K of C. The Christmas season is a great time to do these things....but we should try to make it a habit to volunteer all year, If we have the time...not everyone has the time.

I never Valunteer or donate to any PHILATHROPIC ORGANIZATION-, Because every so call PHILANTHROPIC organisation...mis use the funds....70% of the available funds will cover stricly Administrative needs...like buying a nice car for the President to drive... 20% goes for oher general Expensses, 5% Advertsement...and finally to stay in buisness and follow some legal guidelines less than 5% goes to the poor. Fund raising is a beautifull -legal way to cheat your fellow citizens.

I help once a week by volunteering my time in a Job Corps. I help my friend there who works there by running the copy machine for her. So that her job is easier for her, cause she does not get to everything. well that's all.

That's great! I would've never thought of volunteering this holiday if I had not seen this right now. Thank you for the reminder. ;) I will definitely volunteer this holiday.
