The greatest trick the devil pulled was to convince man that he did not exist.

Jesus Christ believed in the devil. (Matthew Chapter 4, etc). Paul believed in the devil (Ephesians 4:27; 6:11) James believed in the devil (James 4:7) Peter believed in the devil (I Peter 5:8) Jude believed in the devil (Jude verse 9). I would have to be pretty arrogant to suppose I was wiser that these, don't you think?

Not sure. I know you said for Christians, and I'm not exactly sure of my faith right now, but here's my opinion.
Nothing is strictly good or evil. It's just not possible. But there ARE negative and positive forces out there. And if you are a Christian, isn't it kind of an obligation to believe in the Devil?

Yes, even Jesus talked to him.
The bible calls him a manslayer, slanderer, the one accusing God and also people day and night....
1)He challenged God's so.vereignty over man.
2) He accused that human would leave, curse God when faced with suffering
We are always faced with the question, who am I going to make happy today? God or Satan the devil?
---------
Revelation 12:7-9, 12: “War broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
Aint it a chaotic world out there?

Nope. I feel like the "devil" is a fictitious character made up to scare people into complying with the "rules" set out in the bible. It is a scare tactic!

I believe there is a devil & demons & fallen angels & spiritual wickednesses.
I believe in (trust & obey) God; the Father, Word & Holy Spirit.
To me believing in someone means to have trust in that someone.
