Use Clairol Herbal Essence Chunking Or Highlight kit. Also, if of color, useAfrican Pride higlite Kit. Both will run form $10-15 and should be at your local drus or beauty supply store.

they have packages at the drug store specifically for highlighting. you might want to have a friend around though to help.

i think loreal has this thing called Chunking, and i used to use it in high school. they had it in red or blonde and i remember it being pretty easy. the package will include gloves and a cap with little holes in it. it will also come with a hook tool so you can just pull the hair through the cap. just make sure you pull the entire strand of hair through so you don't have dark roots on your new highlights!

Have you ever considered that highlights wear out for a reason? Your hair probably looks best natural, and I count lightened by the sun as natural. Your skin probably darkens in the summer, and your hair lightens. When your sun-dyed hair fades, so does your skin, so the coinside to correspond with the season. This way looks best, when you dye your hair, you're breaking the coloring cycle.

Go figure.

Try all natural, it's fun and it gives you this smoky, earthy look.

Even if your hair is naturally blonde.

There are some kits in like CVS or something else such as your local drugstore. Salons make it really perfect but the kits at drugstores work also.

You could go to wal-greens or some kind of drug store and they have little boxes with stuff for do-it-yourself highlights. It's pretty easy.
