Actually this is abit more complex than it first appears, why? because this person is your boss and thus holds a position of power (responsability) thats different from your own. So the power differences can potentially make or brake a relationship but it very much depends upon the sheer chemistry (dynamics) between the two of you.
**Things like difference in financial standing could be another area of insecurity. She being on a higher salary than you? Does that matter to you or make no difference at all?
**Age could be another issue?.
**The promotion or demotion issue?
**Your own job security could be another issue (especially if your boss is the person that does the hiring & firing).
I think the bottom line here is "do you actually like her" as a person and not just as your boss? If you do like her, do you like her enough to date with her?? Only you can know which it is, in your heart of hearts.
**May be a powerful in control boss woman is a total turn on for you? only you know that one!!
**Theres alot to consider, if its going to be more than just a one night stand?

try doing something really kinky that she wouldn't want anybody else to know about. Get it on video tape if possible or some digital pictures. That way, you can make sure you get the promotion. And a hefty raise too!. and if she doesn't want to give you that along with a paid vacation then you can always ask her if you can post the material you have online. don't worry she will give you the promotion the hefty raise and the paid vacation with a lil Christmas bonus too. just make sure you get some close ups of her face when you record it

Why not do both?? Make sure when you do get promoted though to have a talk with her and make sure it is strictly a work related promotion.

honey....NEVER sleep with the boss...just do your job and earn your promotion....keep your nose clean...if your boss is coming onto you then you have to re consider a new job, unless you enjoy the attention but i would strongly recommend against getting laid by the boss....earn the promotion...dont lay down for it

Go for Gold, but let her set the pace. When its over its over. You will be out the door quicker than you can get your knickers off if you make a mess of it.
There are other jobs out there so never worry about that. Besides with that good looking *** of yours I doubt she will be in a hurry to get rid of you.

That's a tough one. The guy across my workplace slept with his female boss, a few months later she got the sack and guess who got her job. A few months later he got the sack as well. Better be careful whatever you do.
