You need to see a dermatologist. Acne is caused by your sebacious glands overproduction of oil and clogging of your pores. Accutane is a way to basically stop this production. Stress increases the production of oil and you need to go to a licenced dermo and get treatment or your skin will scar.

Cystic acne is a tough one, you can try Accutane which is your best option but it also comes with serious and sometimes permanent side effects, it is a last resort.

You might want to try Retin-A Micro it is a lot gentler than the other two forms of Retin-A. There is nothing you are doing wrong to cause these forms of cysts and really nothing you can do to prevent it other than trying different treatment options like Ive listed.

You need to talk in depth with a dermatologist who can surgically remove the present ones if necessary and prescribe something that will help you... (This is the only way to get rid of them but is not a guarantee they wont return. You have to weight the pro's and con's of the scar vs removal)

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

You need to see a dermatologist, cystic acne is the type needing to be treated from within. Proactiv might work for a little while or Acne Free (the same as proactiv but available at Walmart, CVS, etc.. works better too) however being since it is biological you need to take medication. They give you antibiotics for that sometimes.

drink water!!!!!! also, use a soft cleaser, i really didn't like the proactive solution. it was really harsh on my skin. i would use aveno daily cleansing pads or just aveno soap, it is really nice to irritated skin, i love it. also, try to cut out greasy foods, sugar, and soda stuff, it can REALLY make your already stressed skin worse. yes, i guess that is all i can say, i too suffer from stress related acne, and i am under a lot of pressure with family and stuff, but this is what i do and it helps a lot!!! good luck! and happy holidays! i hope i help you out some what!

The best acne product I have ever used is called clear.now. My face has improved so much since I began using it -- it's better than proactive.

You can't get it in stores but you can order it at www.jewel.mychoices.biz

All the best

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
