As a person with psoriasis I know for a fact that untreated it will eventually go away. HOWEVER it often comes back for short burst to let you know it still lurks beneath the dark layer of your skin.

well, some folks can stand not to scratch the itch, most folks go mad trying not to.

my wife has psoriasis, heres a simple almost free, and effective relief.

take an ounce of dried sage (go to a veggie or herb shop, even asda..and tesco etc) boil it in a pint of water, simmer it down to around half, let it cool, drain it, strain it, and keep the liquid...

add a couple of glugs to teh bathwater, and try an oatmeal scrub..in reality this is some porridge oats in the leg of an old pair of tights! youll see results in a few days.. no itching no redness, no cracking painful skin... oh, and no side effects... apart from a hankering for a chicken sandwich!

the half pint should last around 2 - 3 weeks.

It will get worse. Psoarisis is a genetic disease and will not go away. You will find that it has a lot to do with your diet ... so look out for preservatives and additives. I find soaking in a bath with a cop of sea salt really helps. After I use aqueous cream. I am not keen on using steroids, cortizone, and so far have managed to keep it pretty much under control. You will have to do something though, as it is not going to cure itself. It will not be life threatening in anyway, other than you can infect areas by scratching etc.

It depends on the person. It may just recede and go away, stay the same or really flare up. No telling but you are best to try and keep it managable. I have 40 years of experience, I know what I am talking about!

Depends on how bad it is and where it is. Sunlight is one of the best remedies so if it is in your scalp and you have short hair it will probably be contained, however if not then it will become severe and your skin will weep, the sores will be extremely painful and may become infected. Tea tree oil is very good for it.
