Dunno about North London but you could try the beer stall at Borough Market, they have a good range of foreign beers (and you can also pop over to the cider stand while you're there and down a few pints)

I have to say I've never heard of amber bock beer. Bock beer is a strong autumn/winter speciality, particularly of German speaking countries, though they are brewed in the Netherland also. Speciality foreign beers are hard to come by in Britain. Try the internet. Google 'bock beer' or something similar.
