How important is it to you in a boyfriend/girlfriend or someone you are dating that they have a pleasant/nice voice?
I've been told I have a soothing singing voice but when I talk I sound nasally.... I dont usually take offense but then a guy I was VERY interested in said he couldn't stand when I talked..... I was in shock that something like that would matter. I was pleased by his honesty but it made me think..... so I thought I would ask :)

Like all things you just look at the good and the bad and see if it is worth it. Not anyone is going to have the perfect mate. There will be something that is just not right or annoying. Decide what is important. The voice is not as important as other social skills. Would rather be with someone that is great to be around than someone that has just a preety voice.

Women in other parts of the country love my voice because I am from the South and have just a hint of an accent (not too far out there). Women around home don't seem to notice.

Very important...altho it doesn't seem to hold everyone back(I'm thinking of Dr.Phil's wife and the hostess on the Biggest Loser show just for 2 examples).High pitched and screechy are the worst, in my opinion. If you want people to enjoy conversing with you 'modulate your tone'.

i think thats very important. at least to me. i love a guy wit a great voice. i want to be able to talk on the fone wit him n just be taken to another place by his sexy voice.
