Many non-Muslims have come to incorrectly believe that Allah is the ‘God of Muslims’ – A deity somehow different from the God of the other faiths. It should be emphasized that the term “Allah” has no implied meaning at all of an Arabian god, a Moon god or even a Muslim god. Muslims are not claiming any exclusiveness when they say "Allah". However Allah is simply the Arabic Name of the one Almighty God; the same name by which Arabic-speaking Jews and Christians, refer to God. The Allah comes from the term ‘al-ilaah’. Al is the definite article in Arabic, equivalent to ‘the’ in English, while ilaah means ‘a deity or god’. So Allah means The God. This is beautifully articulated in the first pillar of Islam which is to believe that God is One, in Arabic it would be, "La ilaha illallah" meaning "There is no god but God"

Bubba -
If you look at many of my answers you will see that I use the word God and Allah interchangeably. I'm an American English-speaking white anglo saxon Muslim. There. That pretty much tells you I'm a "normal" American.
Amu - thanks for the question. It's interesting to know there are people out there who do know that Allah = God. :) (except for that weirdo dude Common_Sense.....is his nick an oxymoron?)

If what you say is true, then why do American english speaking Muslims use the word Allah instead of the word God. If Allah is just an Arabic word, it should not be used by people who speak other languages, but they do. Why................because Allah is not the same as Yahweh, Jehovah, and God.

Pagan gods did not outdate the Christian God. God is an same, the day earlier to this, immediately and always. he's the Alpha and Omega, the initiating and end. He in no way alterations. before the earth replaced into made, "i'm", He reported. that's the element: we can't all be good. someone must be good. All of our religions can't be authentic. it truly is purely no longer achievable. We purely believe that the concept of our God is the most accessible (enter taunts the following).

Why do people assume there is a God or Allah or whomever at all? We are all from the one source of consciousness and energy.
We are all from the same place of spirit energy and consciousness before we are born. Then we live in a human physical body retaining our spiritual consciousness throughout our life on earth.
We return to the same state of consciousness when our physical bodies die. Religion is just a man-made institution. We are not humans having a spiritual experience, we are spirits having a human experience. Then when we die, we all return to the same place to rejoin with all spirit as one consciousness. Maybe this occurance is what people like to call God or Allah or whomever they believe in.

Now you use a different identity.
After one has been brutalized in the way they have been in the States. You do recall 9/11 don't you? I am sure you do. They are not ready to believe in Islam. I myself believe in God, because I choose to do this, but to constantly push people is real bad.
I do believe in Islam and because I do I believe it best to let you know where you stand.
You cannot invite people to Islam after bombing them. You can't invite people to Islam until you take care of your own problems first.
Arabs are not Islam.
Muhammand the shiny faced guy who thinks he's the prophet must be tired.
Don't push!!!

Do you know this about the true god, he has a first created son.
In colossians 1:15 it says the Jesus is the first of his creations he was created first of long ago. By means of him all other things in heaven and earth was created. That includes man him self. Then as mankinds only hope of salvation, he came to this earth to give his life in exchange for many to buy back for us what adam lost. It is only through Jesus that mankind might be saved. that is a quote from the bible.

I did know this but did you know that most religions also teach of false gods and there can be no doubt that either the God of Islam or the God of the Bible are real or both are false but no way can both be the same God.

IF you have an open mind, go to www.godisimaginary.com. Then read all there is to read and realise that ...
ATHEISM IS THE ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE
belief in a supernatural entity, with whatever name you wish to call it, is something which will eventually go the way of Thor and Zeus and Ra.
Why not realise this NOW?
