Semi-sweet chocolat will contain more sugar. Dark chocolate usually contain's less sugar & is usually a more pure form of chocolate & less sweet, but yet still good! BUT DON'T EVER EAT UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE!!! AS IN BAKER'S CHOCOLATE! IT'S DARK YES, BUT SO GROSS CUZ IT HAS NO SUGAR & IS ONLY MEANT TO BAKE WITH............ZETA!!!

Dark chocolate has been processed less and contains many more of the compounds that are good for your health. Semi-sweet has had milk and additional sugar and the chocolate flavor is nowhere near as intense as dark.

Dark Chocolate is usually processed less and contains more cacao(which is why it is sometimes called bitter chocolate) whereas semi-sweet chocolate (usually milk chocolate) has milk and sugars added to a more processed cacao.

cacao is the nut that chocolate is made from.
