Personality/Attitude.
You can be pretty and NOT attractive. Also, you can be attractive and not pretty. Sexy is someone who is BOTH. Personality/attitude is what is attractive to me.

it's not how good you look or how well you are built. it more an attitude and the way you carry yourself, the way you move.
Shakira is the sexiest woman on the planet. She has a nice build but she is small and she looks nice but she isn't beautiful but she moves with such a confidence. The belly dancing moves put her over the top. but even without them she would be very seXXXy.
I'm old and heavy but some women still find me sexy.

Sexy is in the eye of the beholder!!! I think it depends on you and how you feel about yourself!!! You do not have to be a big busted women dancing the pole with nothing on and licking your lips to be sexy!!! I think if you leave a little to the imagination that is sexy!!!~like showing a little skin keeps the others wondering what is underneath!!
plus, if you need help to feel sexy, try wearing sexy panties and bra under your clothes....sometimes wearing sexy can help you feel sexy!!! Plus, enhancing features can help...lips, eyes, and ect.
Sexy can involve all 3...what you wear, looks, and personality!!!

A sexually confident attitude with an approachable personality. Appearences will only enhance sexiness. Lots of gorgeous women who dress in "sexy" clothes are complete b i t c h e s, which kills their sexy. On the other hand there are lots of women that are pretty ordinary to look at, but their attitude and confidence drip with sexiness. GRRRRRRRRRRR

I tend to agree with all of the comments so far, but I believe that each person derives their own definition of what sexy is. It is a combination or collection of characteristics about another person that arouse your sexual desire. What may arouse your sexual desire, may or may not arouse me in the same way. For myself personally, I find even small intricate things sexy, for example:
In Men
A man who wears expensive shoes
Sweat on a mans bare chest
A man with a deep voice
In Women
A women whos bra and panties match
The smell of a womens hair (after it has just been washed)
A women who knows the difference between communication and emotion
See what I mean... May be weird to others, but sexy to me!

Well...being sexy is not about what u wear,,,it's about what u are! Ur charm, ur inside beauty or ur simple person ...everything that is coming from inside! The people that are their self's are the most sexy people...the original people, not those who copy from other people, or things like that! Maby is about what u wear too...but not very important! Important is to be U and not to wear vulgar stuffs...those are really unsexy! Every person is sexy in her or his way! Many accentuate it, many not!

by being themselves with bursting confidence (something i barely have)...alternatively, it can be achieved cheapy by wearing revealing cheap clothes that makes no difference if you wear nothing at all and being totally not yourselve. i wouldn't classify anyone at all to be sexy, i wouldn't call people sexy or hot, i would use the words handsome, pretty or beautiful as those are more on the inside and outside and not just outside. personally, people who are 'sexy' (said to be's), i consider to be rather (crudely said) slutty or bitchy...but its all down to what you think really.

i think sexy obviously starts with basic good looks. i'm not saying model material, but i think there has to be gernally attractive qualities (and well know that we're attacted to different types..so that makes sexy as not being able to be defined..)
but anywho..past that i think it's a lot more personality.. i think a fun, confident (not cocky), laid back/comfortable personality is great and sexy!!

For guys, sexy is mostly looks. It can be very related to what they wear. But look can also be their postures and their way they talk and walk.
