Go to your control panel, click add or remove programs, click on internet explorer 7 and the remove button. It will automatically go back to explorer 6. If you have automatic updates on your comp. Then turn them off or else you're computer will just keep downloading them. That's what happened to me!

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6

I uninstalled IE 7 to put 6 back on and my computer totally crashed. I had to get it fixed by a computer guy, he said that for some reason the new IE puts important files in your system, when you uninstall it, the files go with it. Yes it is a piece of crap.

7 is basically the best, if you think the interface is hard to use then you could use Opera or Firefox to have the same feautures without trouble. I could help you anytime if you think that any feautures available on six are not available on 7.
