My vaporizer has been spewing water instead of lots of steam. How do I get it to just steam nicely?

I did put some salt in it and the water does turn dark now. How do I clean it out good?

You've been using water that is less than pure. You probable have calcium/lime built up in the nozzel. You'll have to clean it thoroughly, and then try to use filtered water in it.

First of all you really should see a doctor if your cough has persisted for any period of time. If it is just allergies, Vick's won't help much. Be careful not to catch strep throat, then you will need antibiotics. I would puts the Vick's directly on my chest and right under my nose.

Hard water lime build up...put a pinch of salt in it next time you run it....

could be too much salt. Use less water,(don't fill it all the way to the fill line) helps mine.

check the tubing, filter... the container of water.
could be plugged or you may have a break somewhere.
