I've been told I could be the next Christina Aguilera or Mariah Carey. I have a 4-octave range and I've been told that I'm a great songwriter. I'd really like to go somewhere with my music, but I live in the middle of nowhere in a tiny town in New England. Any suggestions?

Well being a felow newenglander, start with a smaller record lable thier are plenty in the area, if you cant find one making your own CD With recording equipment that you can buy (let me ask my producer where he bought his and ill get back to you on it) after that make a demo of what you feel is your best stuff, send it to a major company, do some local shows and try to get your name in the system, it shouldnt take long then for you to get going, but be patient with it.

Mariah has an 8 octive range. Better off making your own label and putting it on myspace. This is the computer age sweetie pie, you dont need major labels. Look at Def Row records

Well what you should do is get known around your neck of the woods. So, if you got the proper tools to put your voice on cd, pass it out to people around the area so you can get known, thats what im doing. Or e-mail me if you want more help.
