I have extremely long hair(almost to my butt) and i wass thinking of getting it cut...how much should i get cut off? do guys think it is more attractive for a girl to have long hair? Any suggestions on how short i should go w/o regretting it?....thanx for any help!!

guys adore long hair.Sure, there are guys that love and short hair, but most of them like that long look:)

I used to have long curly hair, then finally one day I had had enough of dealing w/ it and I got it cut into a short shag. I thought the boys wouldn't like me anymore.....allow me to assure you this is not the case. I actually had guys specifically compliment my haircut. (Guys I didn't know!) There is like a whole new sect of men who love short haired women. I have a guy pal who LOVES short hair on women. I got it all cut off 11 years ago and have never gone back!

Shoulder length for some mid-back on others. But too much hair gets tangled guys do notice split ends. there's nothing like holding the back of a girls head and having a hold of the greatest smell on earth. I like stroking hair at night to help them go to sleep or to make them feel better when sad.

Most men I know like long hair (shoulder to mid-back).
Cut your hair to just at or below your bra strap in the back. This way you wont regret cutting to much at once, you can always go back and cut more.

Cut it to where its aligned with the small of your back....then cut subtle layers...not too long..the shortest layer about 2 inches above the small of your back and another layer one inch above the longest layer. Then soft curls with a 1.5 ince barrel curling iron. Try side bangs...not too long, and if you're not keen on side bangs, cut just enough where you can easily comb it with the rest of your long hair...that should turn heads! You'd be a knockout!

Guys LOVE long hair, although if you wanted to cut it and still have it be considered long you could get it cut so that it falls halfway down your back. Hair that long (down to one's rear) can get hard to deal with and be limited as far as how it can be styled.

yea. they like it when its a down a little longer then ur neck. so cut it up to your neck but a little bit longer. i dont think they like too much long hair but i know they dont like short hair. well...it depends on the guy. and if ur gettin it cut u should get some waves and bangs and style ur hair.

Yeah, I like long hair but I'm not against short hair either. I look at a woman's heart and soul and not her physical attributes,,,

relies upon on the lady, some women have been via no means ment to have short hair.. nor can they pull it off.. different can look easily magnificent with the main suitable kinda decrease of short hair :D
