And do you know what Atheist do, they just disengage. They do that because the evidence (scientific evidence not biblical) for God's existence is so very STRONG... Jim

3. When they read something in the bible that makes no sense: the bible war written A LONG time ago most of it's context don't make sence.

4. When they're too lazy to investigate to rely on evidence instead of faith: Becuase to then there the right ones based on relgion.

5. When they come accross something that would cause them to question if God exist or not: To then God is a precious thing and should be reverd and respected.

#1-We can not answer every question there ever was. No we may not be able to "proove" what God exists by science and yes we absolutely use "faith" as an answer because that is a huge part of Christianity.
#2-Anyone who is a true Christian (even anyone who may not yet know the truth and the way) will never lose a debate with an atheist.
#3-Everything in the Bible makes sense
#4-Faith is much bigger than evidence, have you not heard of Doubting Thomas???
#5-I do not question whether or not God exists, and no atheist's statements would ever persuade me to not believe.

Well I am a christian and I have faith I don't use it for anything you say because one if someone asked me a question a serious questiosn about the bible and I don't know the answer i'll refer him to someone who knows so they can help hem find figure out the thruth .
I never lost a debate with a Atheist because I have the answer of what I beleive in the are written black on white and I can prove scientificaly many parts of it.

The bible ALWAYS make sens if you find it does 'nt read it again or get someone help you out understanding it maybe a pastor could help you understand the message you read.

Actually there is many evidence that it is true. And they can prove it by many ways thay can't prove yet every single passage of the bible but they have enough evidence to say it is in fact true.

I don't only beleive in God because I have faith I beleive in God because I can understand is message and Wat he wont from me i beleive in God because it make so much sens and it is just so eye opening when you start understanding it.

Maybe you don't have faith because you think God does not exist. In fact in the bible it is written that Lucifer ( the devil ) will do anything to make you not have faith in your Lord. As you can see he his really a powerfull fallen angel but there is one thing you may consider it all make sens when you open it and read it try before complaining . You may open your eyes and be saved for eternal damnation.

i'll pray for you

ok i may not agree with religion. but that is absurd.

religion is based on faith. why would u want them to believe based on proof? if it was a proven fact then people wouldnt need faith they'd need an education. infact i find the very few who claim they believe based solely on faith to be the smartest of the bunch. that is what their bible tells them they should be, have faith not fact. they are at least holding to what they believe.

not like athiests can prove their point that there is no god anymore then religious folk can prove that there is.

i think both sides are quite stubborn on this debate.

I believe in God and my dilemma is not being able to have intelligent conversations when it comes to scientific facts with fundamentalists.

I just don't want to be convinced. I want people to share their love of all things, God etc with a faith so strong that they don't have a need to come up with a faith card.

Great question. I have often wondered this myself. When I was younger, and trying to figure out if I believed in God, I asked Christians (and specifically) a lot of questions, and you have no idea how many times I was told to "take it on faith".

If we were created in his image, doesn't that mean that we get our curiosity from him?!?!

Birds of the same feather... you know how THAT goes, right?

Maybe YOU should get around more and talk to the more adept Believers then... rather than regurgitating the obvious weaknesses of some in your flock.

Peace be with you.

it's all about being right! Doesn't matter if your christian, muslim, buddist, atheist, etc.... It's all about being right, you don't want anyone else telling you that what you believe in is wrong. Even if you don't have an ounce of fact or scientific proof to back it up!
I'm more concerned in who's wrong in the end and who'll pay the biggest price for being wrong!
