Start packing up your stuff while he is away and only take what is yours and there can be no fight over. When the time comes, because you've begun to pack the old life away, the telling becomes easier. Maybe write it out before hand so you have things organized in your mind when you do tell him.
Just take small steps and soon it takes on a life of it's own.
Good luck.

Tell him it's not working out and you've talked to your mom and you've decided you're moving home. If possible, do most of the packing while he's away (at work or something) and do the actual move while he's away. Ask him if you can see the dog once in awhile or have the dog for every other weekend.

Start moving you stuff a little at a time. Tell him that you're moving, because you can't deal with the bad vibes anymore.
Take the last of it out when he's not there. And lock the key in the house when you leave.

be flexible, and pick and choose your battles, like not getting upset over him using your toothpaste, or the little things that annoy you more now that you live together. Just remind yourself of all the sweet, good things he does when that happens, and it's easier to deal with the little things that for some reason just really get on your nerves, so that you can just let it go, after all y'all were raised differently and have different habits.

easiest for you. move out while he's at work and tell him to call you on your cell.
easiest for him. tell him you are moving out on Saturday and you want him to see what you are taking so there won't be any arguments. won't be easy but will lessen the shock.
how is the house titled? in both names? you could still be responsible for 1/2 the house payment. You may need a lawyer first before talking to him.

there is no easy way. just sit down and gently tell him you dont feel things are working out. dont make accusations or place blame anywhere. keep calm. be ready for whatever reaction he might have. and be ready to leave the area at least long enough to let things sink in. good luck

You need to make yourself happy!! If you need to move out then do it when he is not there. Take what is yours!!! don't tell him your leaving until you got all your stuff out of the house!!! Plus, take the dog if it yours too!!!

All you can is do it--you can just tell him that you feel under the circumstances--you two are not getting along and you feel that it is time you left and you are sorry--but you feel it is better this way and don't wish for hard feelings--but friendship.
