Brits should be the last people talking about civilized behaviour, soccer players and fans do not behave like civilized people, oh how they treat their women, maybe you all should worry about going to a dentist once in a while and learn to cook appetizing food.

learn how to behave towards women?? do you mean how i should behave to other women?? sometimes i have not been overly nice but i dont really think thats a Canadian thing i think its more a female thing.... civilization???? i dont really get this word..... i mean i see it typed on this mechanical thing in front of me but i dont really understand. im not even sure how im writing this in English or where i ever learned the language.... and what is this soccer your speak of???? i believe i have heard of it before in every town in this country where people of all ages play on teams of all skill level, indoor and outdoor. but really im not sure.

if your too thick thats the sarcasm i talked about before....
i think this person has us confused with other countries who force their women to wear cloths covering their entire body and beat them to death for not. confused with other countries where female are not allowed to work or go to whatever school they want to. confused with other countries who are so uncivilized that the people are not allowed to say what they want about their leaders for fear of being ostracized. confused with other countries that go to 'war' to protect their oil supply- oh and by the way it is OUR soldiers being sent home in boxes because they are stuck fighting a 'war' our country didnt start. he has this country confused with other countries who dont look after their people when it comes to medical expenses or the elderly.
i hope that if it means we will be more like other countries we stay exactly how we are. uncivilized, with men who will most often still help a woman when she needs and allow her to be who she is and a country full of different types of people who play a verity of different sports.

Civilization in Canada is alive and well, there are millions of awesome men out there, and as for soccer.....that's what our women play here.

Yeah, I see EVERYONE's on your side here TouJRS. Looks like you asked a stupid question! Now, off to the dentist with you.

As a Canadian woman I am rather shocked by this question. We have a wonderful balance of equality with a hint of chivalry still in existance. Canadian women are in high regard in business and with our male partners.

Canadians seem more civil than Americans and it's called football not soccer. I'm American and even I know that much.

Thought it already had been to Vancouver many times.
One or two players who are Canadian have done well regarding soccer.
