There was a time when there was a danger of getting a parasite disease called Trichinosis from undercooked pork but today in the USA that is no longer a problem so you can leave the pork slightly pink with no problem.

If the outside is still at all pink that means the inside is not even partly cooked? You're just eating raw pork which is not safe at all, you can get all sorts of worms/parasites/infections from that. Pork is the worst meat to eat raw, ignore the answer that says its safe because of modern feeding methods. Modern feeding methods are honestly really disgusting and unsanitary and the raw meat is pretty germy/filthy. Put the meat back on the stove and cook it till the inside is only a bit pink and the outside is actually cooked.

If you are eating American pork probably nothing. Maybe bathroom troubles at worst.

You can get trichinosis from pork, but since the advent of modern farming methods the incident of this bacteria has been greatly reduced.

You'll be fine. Drink a lot of water to flush your system if you're worried.

Trichinosis is the concern... the larvae of a roundworm.

This happens VERY rarely now in the USA... pork raising prevents them from being introduced to roundworm.

I cook my pork to medium rare these days.

You may well develop the mother of all cases of diarrhea. Although today's pork is free of trichina cysts, uncooked or undercooked meat of of any sort can contain enough bacteria to make you so sick you'll wish you'd just die and be free of the misery - and if it's a serious enough case, you WILL die! Never feed undercooked pork to small children, adults with chronic health problems, and very old folks.

You can get a serious case of food poisoning from any type of meat that's not fully cooked. Symptoms include diarrhea and stomach cramps. In severe cases a person can become dehydrated and even die of it's not treated properly or if the person is young, elderly or in poor health to begin with.

Nothing, it just won't taste right.

Coach is absolutely correct. Pork, when cooked correctly, is slightly pink in the center.
