put a add in the paper that you are looking for someone to watch a 2 year old during the day, and when you talk to them, tell them your situation and that you can't pay that much......

Welfare or state aid is a good way to go. They will most likely enforce child support on the father. They will also give her cash, food stamps, and possibly child care and help with rent

She has to get a job. Thats just how it is. She can get support from the state for her older child and her ex for the younger. But she's going to have to work. That money is for the kids, not her.

She shoulda thought about that before she had the 2nd child. She has to get a job at night and try to get Grams to watch the kid while she is at work. Alot of women wanna be independent, until it's time to be, then they want to make excuses.

Try applying for assistance in her state. Food stamps, daycare assistance, cash assistance. $75 per month is cheap daycare. I pay more than that per week per child.
She should already be receiving SSI benefits for the first child since the father was killed. Why isn't she receiving any benefits for that?
