Thai women are very beautiful. But not for everyones taste. I live out there and have a thai gf, but she is the only thai girl i have been with in nearly 6 years as before i met her i wasn't interested in thai women except to look at. Not difficult and not easy to explain.

Same as women in any countries, the differences are the way they live, communicate and behave, which have been largely influenced by Buddhist way of living and Thai culture.

Since Thailand is located in the tropical zone, and most of the land are fertile, They do not have problem with food but the nutrition might be different to the western countries. Thai foods normally cooked together with various natural herbs (in one bowl of noodle, there might have over 10 natural herbs which are good to your health) and not much fat. That's why you hardly see the overweighted Thai. Thai are mostly skinny and have smaller body built than the westerners. Things are changing today as new generation consume much more milk and improve the quality of their daily nutrition, their average height is increasing from 150+ to 165 - 180 cm (women) but their weights still maintain in the range of 42 - 48 for the women ages below 30. over 53 kg is considered overweight for unmarried women.

Lot more but you have to come and see by yourself. Don't worry, thai are friendly, shy and polite to people from all races, colors and beliefs.

I'm sorry to see this question from you after the "Spouse goes to Pattaya 3 times a year" question. Seems you got a lot on your mind. I wouldn't agonize over how Thai women look... and I certainly wouldn't compare yourself to them. (If I'm way off base... tell me to f**k off). :)

To answer your question: Thailand is in SE Asia, south of China, east of India. The woman fit into 3 general categories: Chinese Thai (look very similiar to Chinese people, light skin, dark hair), Isan Thai (that's Thai people who share culture and language with Cambodia and Laos) and they are the darkest skinned Thai people (but, in my opinion, the most beautiful). And the 3rd type is traditional Thai... I guess they look kinda similar to Indian people but not as dark skinned.

Physically, Thai women are tiny. My wife is 4' 10" and 106 lbs. She's of a pretty typical body size for Thai women. The food, lifestyle, cultural pressure, and weather all contribute to Thai women being slim. All Thai woman are naturally dark haired but you see a lot of women change their hair change to lighter. Thai women's noses tend to be a bit squat and plastic surgery to change that is also very common.

If you want pictures of Thai women, you can google images it and find tonnes I'm sure. Thai women, like women from any country, are both ugly and beautiful; good and bad.

Depends, there are quite a few major subdivisions of thai. My wife is Isaan, from Ubon Ratchathoni, and personally I prefer the darker thai, but to each his own. Hit up Youtube and type "thai girl". Im half thai, my mum is thai. Were both really small have dark brown/black hair and my mum has quite big eyes which are similar to chinese eyes. I have quite dark skin because my mum is from the south of Thailand.

Thailand is a place of diversity. The gene pool is sort of large so you have a mixture of ethnicity. While there are a lot of Asian characteristics in the area there are also different skin tones from white to dark brown, all shades. The hair of most people is predominantly dark. The stature is mostly short, to our standards, but there are some exceptions. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Ladies from Chang Mai tend to have slightly lighter skin.
The majority of the ladies working in the sex industry are from Issan they tend to be darker.
