I haven't really said much about it, since it's so sudden, and usually goes away after a couple of seconds. But every so often it gets bad and i fall, and can barely get up. It's really bothering me, and making me worried, i'm afraid of falling in public and getting hurt. Anyone know what might cause this?

I eat, enough, but i'm never really hungry and i get sick a lot. I don't think anyone in my family has high blood pressure but i'm not sure. I'm only 14, i forgot to say in the first part.

Go to your family doctor ASAP- you may have hypoglycemia which is low blood sugar. Symptoms that you are having are very dangerous-- what if you fall in the middle of a busy street?
See your doctor ASAP

I have the same issues, I have diabetes in my family, i have been diagnosed w/ IBS and Acid Reflux, used to have issues w/ my gall bladder, but the meds for the other stuff cover that up, which I don't like things being covered up. I was recently told that you must ask for the 5 hour test, as the quick prick may not really help to know if you are diabetic w/ everyone, especially if you are just glucose sensitive and not classified as diabetic. As i sit here now, my head feels very dizzy..i haven't even eaten anything, and usually things i eat cause it, but i notice when i have to go pee and don't go right away, i get dizzy too. ugg Please go to the doc and get that 5 hour test hun. :)

It could be low blood pressure or anemia, amongst other things.
I would see your GP so he can do blood tests to rule things out - it could be something you need treatment for.
The following website has lots of information about what can cause dizziness: http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/Dizziness.html
If you don't want to visit your GP, you can always call NHS Direct on 08454647 and ask for advice.
The NHS website has a set of questions about dizziness in adults, you could answer them for a better idea of what it might be: http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/help/bodykey/questions/index.aspx?nodes=oBE7STwlY6k%3d
Hope it goes well.

First of all, you need to talk to your parents about this. Second, you need to be drinking filtered water with minerals in it. Third you definitely need to see a doctor. There might be some easy explanation for it all. This website has the best water filter out there and you can even get a water bottle with the filter that puts minerals back into it: www.nikken.com/jlmiller

You should really see a doctor. I had a similar problem when I was a teenager and got tested for all kinds of things... anemia, low blood sugar, things like that. Go to a doctor and start with a blood test.

It could be an inner ear problem, a metabolic disorder, a diabetic problem, any number of problems. You won't find the answers on here.
Make an appointment with your doctor and find out
for sure.

you most likely just need more water in your diet. you should drink at least 4 glasses of water a day.
you should also set up an appointment with your doctor for a blood test to see if you're anemic.

From your decription, I had this problem, it was caused by low hemoglobin. (blood) Get your doc to run some tests. It could also be thyroid. Good luck!

This sounds kind of like a condition called vertigo. You can look it up on webMD.com, I don't know much about it.

Does high blood pressure run in your family? Maybe that's it.
