It appears occasionally in the summer but disapears during the winter months.Is this because of hibernation?

A mole and a sun spot are two different things.A mole is a permanent thing,no disappearing.A sun spot or freckle is more likely to come and go according to your exposure to the sun.A mole is usually a raised bumpy roundish spot.If in doubt ask the Dr.
