Caffeine has that affect on the bladder. I don't know all the biological details, but basically caffeine makes you wiz!

I do that too. Iced tea (yep, I live in the South) is even worse than sodas. That's why I don't buy a drink if I go to see a movie.

Look at it like this: water, your body needs and uses. Pop (soda, whatever) isn't used at all by the body, so, naturally, your body does what it is designed to do, and eliminates it as waste.

caffeine is a diuretic. Coffee will make you do that, too. Trust me I know. Drink more water, it's better for you!
