The cat is normal, but is young. Usually if they are gnawing as you say, like on your fingers etc. I had one that tried to do that with my fingers, my diamond on my wedding ring etc. and it was just looking for its mommy, so it could get fed. I believe this is what yours is doing, since it is so young. As far as running around and attacking feet etc. it is just playing.......... have fun with the new kitty.

Yeah one month is too young. As for the attacking... My kitten did the same thing. It is a phase they go through because they are so young and they are so curious... you really do need to constantly stimulate them. It is their way of getting your attention. The phase will eventually pass. You should get into a routine of playtime. Like when you get home from work - allow like, 15min of one-on-one playing. Kittens sleep about 20hrs per day... they have a lot of energy. If you get them on a normal routine, they will be less likely to bother you so much. My cat isn't declawed and she used to do the same thing with my ankles. It seemed that when I corrected her, she just wanted to do it more. I then decided that every time she scratched me, I would cut her nails (which she hates - but they grow back fast). After about the 6th time... she stopped attacking my feet. Also, try getting her a scratching post. The End.

I as well just recieved a little horror kitten...lol. It's nickname is Peanut but it is just a kitten. Mine does the same thing. Once we got it some toys it seems to play with those a lot more than my dangling fingers. As well as a cat house, kittens especially love to play in those. Little fake mice (especially white) work really well. It will be a spaz for a while, but it will grow out of it. Good luck.
Oh, yeah. When it bites, I have learned if you lightly flick it on the end of it's nose, it will not bite as much. don't flick too hard but just enough to make it stop.

LOL It' just being a kitten. Get him some toys and play with and he'll be fine. Don't allow biting or scratching hands. He will start to believe hands are toys and this isn't so cute when they get bigger and have meaner claws. Good luck and enjoy him while he's little. One day he'll just be a big lump of fur piled up somewhere sleeping all the time!

I had that problem with my cat. I bought this stuff at a pet store called Bitter Apple. When he bit or chewed on a person or thing he was not supposed to I sprayed it in his mouth. It is animal safe and he HATED it! I would then give him a catnip toy. This helped him to differentiate what was appropriate to play with. he learned pretty quick and stopped that crazy behavior. He's quite lovable now.

The kitten is normal. Just be nice to it! Do not talk in a mean voice unless it is really bad. All the kitten is doing is begging for attention.

That is totally Normal, I have a 4 month old kitten who bugs the s**t out of me, especially when my husband and I are trying to sleep, (she like to sleep very close to our face) purrrring the whole time, it is annoying but she is a baby...
She likes to hide under the bed and "ambush" us as we are getting ready for work.
She also likes to attack our dog, this kitten drives me Nutso, everyone says once I get her fixed she will calm down... I hope so.
Maybe after you get your kitty fixed he will mellow out~ just remember he is a baby...
Have fun

My cat Midas did that ALLL the time when he was little! I didn't think he would ever grow out of it! But eventually he did. Now he's the nicest cat that I have ever seen. You just have to tough it out- he will calm down soon enough!

First off, you shouldn't have a kitten who's only 1 month old, that kitten would still be nursing from mother, and not weaned.
