my best guy friend sometimes says these confusing things to me(bear in mind,he has a gf) .he keeps on telling my other friends how much of a happy person i am & he always tell me how nice my smile is.we hang out a lot since we take most subjects & classes together.& one of the main things he does is to tease me like hell(esp abt the guy i like who's one of our friends too).i asked him why he liked teasing me so much & he replied with a "i love to see the reaction on your face cos your face lights up & you have a big smile which is lovely".most of our friends bug us saying that we like each other as well.he gets so concerned when i'm feeling down.
& recently when all of us(our friends) were planning to hang out,his gf(who's a freind of mine as well)told me she's not coming & when i urged him to persuade her to come he was like "i don't even talk to her abt hang outs cos she never comes & she never listens to what i say"
is he trying to be more than a best friend?

Well, he may just be a big flirt. Does he flirt friendly with a lot of other girls? If so then I wouldn't worry much about it. Although, if he doesn't, then he may very well be unhappy in his current relationship and you are showing him aexactly what he wants in a woman. But he plays jokingly cause he is afraid of moving your friendship further. So all you can do is simply ask him how he feels, find it out from the horses mouth as they say.
