It's not recommended to feed your dogs, human food.
The only exceptions are cooked chicken & rice, which is a great thing for when a dog needs extra nutrients (elderly/sick/pregnant/nursing).

Everyone will tell you not to feed human food to dogs. I say don't listen to them. I suppose if your dog had a sensitive stomach or whatever maybe you should think about limiting it. I am 42 years old and have had various dogs my entire life and have always fed them crunchy dog food topped with whatever leftovers from what I was eating for dinner on any given day. None of my dogs has ever been sick because of it - ever. I give them bones beef/pork and etc.,- chicken bones are not so great to give especially when they are cold. Try not to give them stuff that is super spicy like jalepenos or excessive hot sauce - (but they like tacobell just fine lol). They have always been fine with whatever I give them and dont eat it if they dont want it or don't like it. I have found what they dont like is pickles, uncooked veggies and a few other things. Let the dog enjoy life for cryin out loud.

Dogs should consume human foods in moderation.

There is a brand of dog food by a company called Merrick. Take a look at the link below. I've opened cans of this dog food and smelled (and you know how all dog foods have that certain smell)....it totally smelled like people food and its full of great lean meats, veggies and even fruits!!!

Your dog will totally love it!!!! The first time I gave it to her she licked the stainless steel bowl clean and her eyes were bulging out of her head!!! So, so funny!!

Take my advice...this is the best natural dog food on the market!

I feed my dogs based on a biologically acceptable raw food diet. You can find out a lot of information about it by searching for "B.A.R.F". It may sound weird but my dogs are healthier and happier then ever. They get pureed vegetables/fruits and raw chicken. It is very healthy for them as it mimics the diet they would have in the wild. The bacteria are not going to make them sick, and they love it. Things you should NOT feed your dogs: chocolate, onions or grapes. In semi-large amounts all three of these are VERY dangerous.

Every dogs can eat as human foods, but it is very unhealthy! The people need more greens and fruits then dogs and in human foods there are too much unhealthy things, for example we use too much salt. There are lots of dog food, give these for your dog!

They can eat random vegitables as well. They need the stuff for their senses and coat =] Carrots and that. Fact, you’ll find the stuff in dogfood ingredients as well. Just remember to have in your report that the more Bare the humafood is, the better. For example, carrots are good (prewashed, of course). But no salt, butter, or spices added to it. Because it’s the extra flavoring that isn’t good for the dog.

They should stay away from nuts and chocolate (which comes from nuts). Other foods that are not made specifically for dogs are not good. A steak once in awhile wouldn't be harmful.
