Do guys feel pressure to give their girlfriends presents? Or is it just an individual thing? Should I feel hurt if my BF doesn't want to?

Boys are more reserved when it comes to presents...but if you want this kind of things...than talk to him openly...and tell him that you would appreciate to receive a gifts from time to time...as a sign of respect and love.

Not all me are comfortable giving cards. However, most I have known are fine with giving a gift, although they often don't know what to buy. You'll see this in person if you are in a busy mall on Christmas Eve as men scramble around trying to find the right gift. they just look like deer in headlights.
I think they really appreciate it if thier girlfriend gives them a list of things that she wants. Then, he atleast has a bit of a roadmap as to what he should buy and where to go to find it.
Yah, I may feel a little hurt if he did not give me one. Yet, if he gives me lots of love and friendship through the year, I'd really prefer that than the opposite. Some may treat you bad most of the time, but give you a great gift. At that point, it really doesn't mean much.

Yes guys do get nervous, especially depending on how much they care about you. If they care about you a lot then they feel pressure and want the present to be the perfect thing. If they aren't that attached to you, they'll probably just give you a little something. Try not to talk about it around your bf that much cuz then he'll really think he has to get you something

most guys just don't have a clue on what to get there gf and if it is a new relationship they might not want to invest that much in the beginning My bf and I have been together for ever it seems and he has hardly gets me anything some times he gives me money and tells me to get something nice for myself not very often. I wouldn't be hurt by it maybe he's just not a very giving person.

Don't feel hurt, it might just not be his thing, he might not know what to get you, and he might not have any money. Instead spend a day together doing something you both love and that can be your Christmas present to one another. Don't expect things and don't pressure him to do something that he may not want to do.

If he's broke...he should do something that has meaning! Ss long as he's giving you something that shows that he's thinking of you, then it should be fine. If he doesnt want to, dont make him....thats just him and it shows how he feels about the situation.

yes most of the time.. i'm always worried that my girl won't like my gift.. because sometimes when i hear girls talking, i hear girls talking about gifts given to them by their boyfriend and not appriciating it.. so sometimes if i really want to give her something i ask what she wants and i'll buy it for her..
of course i would want her to be surprised so i try my best to do so (to give presents), good thing she i appriciates it and she gives me kisses and hugs ^_^ \m/

Well some guys worry that if they don't pick just thr right thing their girl will be mad so they just call instead. I wouldn't feel bad but he should.
