I would like to put a Biblical verse, preferably something Jesus said, into a Christmas card. Got a recommendation? Thanks!

My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.....For the Mighty One has done great things for me..... Luke 1:46-49 NIV.

May He bless your Christmas Season and do wonderful things for you in the New Year!!!!

This is how my Christmas cards read......

I would put two -

Luke 2:11 - For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior which is Christ the Lord

and

John 14:6 - Jesus said unto Thomas "I am The Way, The Truth and The Life, no man comes to the Father but by me"

When I use them, I use verses that fit the people that I give them to. Like if a person does not believe, use John 3:16. If someone is a believer , put in Isiah 53:3 ( He was despised and hated, a man of many sorrows. He was hated, yet we did not care.)

Luke

"Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ[a] the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!

"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"

(Shema Yisrael Adonai eloheinu Adonai ehad)

Matthew 1:21
21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[a] because he will save his people from their sins."

-That is what I wrote in my Christmas cards to people.

Also Luke 2:11 is good.

Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men

"But the angel said,'Do not be afraid; for see- I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.'" Luke 2:10

or

"Jesus said to them,' Is not the reason you are wrong, that you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God?'"

either one is good if you ask me. the 1st one is more Christmasy and is consoling for people who are scared of the war or something.

Put a quote from Jesus that would personally relate to that's person's life or circumstances.
