We're in a long distance relationship (1.5-2 hours) and don't know how to react to her wanting to get a job there. Naturally it's going to bother me knowing she'll constantly be getting checked out and hit on by other guys, but I don't know if i should just suck it up and support her or voice how I really feel. I have a feeling it's going to create problems if she goes through with it...

Well it's not healthy too keep that all inside. You need to at least talk to her and see if there is a way you can both get what you want.
As a former Hooter Girl, I can tell you that yeah, even though the guys stare- very few of them have the balls to even say anything to the waitresses.
Try to support her but see if there is a way you can support eachother instead.

I think you should tell how you feel so she can reassure you otherwise. It is important that you guys share your feelings. You may want to start off with 'HEY, i just want to tell how you feel but this dosnt mean i dont want you to do this okay?..' and go from there. I think you should reassure her that you arnt mad or anything its just your gonna be jealous and stuff cuz u know she's hot and people ARE gonna throw themselves at her. BUT, in the end you SHOULD suck it up if you want to be with her and actually just brag about how your girlfriend works at hooters =p. If she works there, and you can calm your nerves overtime,y ou guys can take anything! good luck.

My girlfriend would NEVER work at Hooters, because Hooters girls are remarkably stupid. I'm not being mean, just stating my observations.

I totally understand you problem. One way you could look at this is you should be proud when people look at your girl with lust because that should make you feel better about your girl because your with her and there not. I also see your point I wouldn't want some guy hitting on my girl either. But I think it might create a problem. If it is something she truly wants to do I don't think you should stop her. Good luck.

is the hooters in a mall? is it a stand alone? would she be working late nights or during the weekends? i ate at a hooters in florida at lunchtime. it was in a mall & it was no different than any where else i'd eaten. the girls are average. they weren't falling out of their clothes & the men weren't acting the fool. but as her man, i can see how that would bother you.

It's ok for you to let her know how you feel about it,but still support her and her decisions. I'm sure she can be trusted,just give her the benefit of the doubt. She will let you know if there's a problem with guys accually grabbing on her,just trust her.

say good-bye ... she is telling you she values the attention her body gets from other men is more important to her than you are ... so if you can handle it - don't sweat it, but don't expect that she is going to be faithful or is interested in you as more than a friend.
"Supporting her" whatever that means ... I don't assume you mean her "hooters" is going to make you feel like a real sucker when you finally tells you about the other guys she is friends
with.

If you think it's gonna bother you even a little, chances are it's going to be on your mind constantly. I would say if she decides to get a job there, and she lives relatively far away, it probably won't work out. Dump her.

It's rather well-known how men stuff money into their bras. I used to think it was a myth, like a publicity stunt but a guy friend who's been there confirmed it's true. He's touched their boobies before, however, he says you have to be discreet about it before they will let you.

She gets hit on by dudes on a regular basis already! My boyfriend would definitely mind me working there, though. If you trust her, there is no need to even trip about it. Plus, if you act insecure, that's a turn off. Look to the bright side, even if the tips are great, the atmosphere (getting hit on, touched, degraded, etc.)could suck and she might end up quitting!
