Because Christians of the west have grown up in a society where they have never had to regularly deal with and socialize with people different from themselves. The hate and anger come completely from lack of understanding. American is one of the most segregate societys in the world, and I am not just talking about race.

I live in the Middle East and yes Christians and Muslims love each other and that because they don't look at each other religion they just deal with each other as people, individual, human being that live in the same place has the same language and the same situation.
But when u come to religion Muslims always says that Christians are Mushrikeen (worship more than one god) Christians are Kuffar (deny god)
if they don't take Islam a religion for them its HALAL for them to be Killed.
But Christians (a real christian not by name) say that even if they r our enemies we need to love them.
so AM I RIGHT????????

Well i am a Muslim and was born and raised in the west, Scotland to be exact. Neither before or after becoming a Muslim have i ever witnessed any acts of hate between Muslims or Christians. I have always lived being close to my neighbors what ever faith they are, there is no problem in the UK between the two. The only place i see a problem is in the media who want to cause conflict with Muslims in the UK everyone i work with knows i am Muslim, 2 of them are Hindus, 1 is catholic and the other 3 have no faith at all. There is never any conflict in fact we never discuss religion that much and when the subject does come up its treated just like any other subject we discuss. I wouldn't believe the hype there is no problem here in the UK at least.

Simply because that has been an accepted culture in the East not only for many centuries, but for over a thousand years already.
While in the Western world, it has been mainly Christianized ever since. And the introduction of Islam is a fairly new phenomenon, specifically in the U.S. that is only a couple of centuries old.
Time can only be the great "healer" of old wounds...
But you're right: WE ARE ALL BROTHERS sharing the same rays of the Sun. God is Good and Merciful. Praise be to God! Hallelujah!!
Peace be with you.

East thats very clear?????? I live north ok! Christians are not prosecuting Muslims. In Turkey its a crime to speak about any other religion then Islam in public. Islam is not accepting of other religions. Just like Christianity wasn't accepting not long ago. All you prophets are imaginary. There is no real proof they were sent from God. The Bible and Koran are both fables.

The problem is when you have 2 religions that have some of the same spiritual practices but want to call it two different thangs you attend to run in to conflicts for a example pipe fitters and boilermakers do not get along one calls pipe pipe the other calls pipe a tube when in realty the both weild on cylindrical objects

Of all the religions in the world, Christianity and Islam are more closely related to each other than any other two major religions. They share the same God, much of the same history and teachings and even many of the same holy places. You would think this would result in a high level of friendly kinship feelings, but it doesn't. The worst arguments often occur in close families.

It depends where you are living. I don't know any Muslims personally. But I do pray for their salvation. For God to give them visions, dreams, etc. of the Truth of Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
I have read of Christians being persecuted in Islamic countries today. Churches being burned, Christians being falsely accused of things to arrest them, etc.
The God of Christ / Christians is different than the God of Mohammad / Muslims. When you read the Bible and when you read the Koran, they have a different salvation message. God is the same yesterday, today & forever, so God will not change His Salvation message.

Although I do not share your belief that Muhammad was a prophet, and I believe that Jesus was the Son of God, God incarnate, I get along with Muslims just fine. My husband is Muslim, he and I just agree to disagree.

No. Our religions are completely different. Western nations are the ones that are suffering under the hand of Islam terrorism. Just look at the USA, Israel, Russia, France, Spain and England.
Christians are not blowing up movie theaters and schools.
