Aside from using the microwave which i dont have...i do mine easily by putting it in a sealed plastic and covering it with tap cold water...changing the water about 3-4 times....it does a good job for me

There's not really a quick method of defrosting ground meat. If you plan on browning it anyway for tacos or chili, you can just put it in a pot with a little bit of water while it is still frozen and brown it up that way. If your'e making meatloaf or burgers, your'e better off going to the store and buying a fresh pack. Put the frozen meat in the fridge and try again in a day or two when it thaws. I wouldn't reccommend microwaving it.

fill your sink with hot water....poke a hole in the container/wrapper.
Put the meat in the hot water. Let some of the water enter the container. It usually takes about 20 minutes. Or you can always defrost it in your microwave (if you have a microwave).

I put the entire package in my sink and fill it up with lukewarm water. If you put a heavy plate on top, it won't float up. Change the water a few times too. Besides the microwave, that is the only way I know of.

what u can do is set the package of turkey in running hot water the meat will thaw out in anout 10 minutes
