I will be using Fiber Optic Digital Audio cable so i'll need an input for that. Also, looking for 5.1 channel. It is for my bedroom, but I want the room to rumble when I'm playing.

Also, I do not want a DVD player with it, just the receiver.

Hi,
I shop a lot and to save time and money I use cheapest prices search engine. Almost every merchant is there and over a million consumer written reviews. You will find many other ways that will help you with questions.
You can shop online or you can go to a merchant and use the toll free phone number if you feel more comfortable shopping like that.
There are merchant reviews, over one million product reviews, compare by brand and a lot more. I hope I helped you and I wish you good luck.

kenwood in a box. the set includes 1 reciever, 2 rear, 2 front, 1 center , and one smaller sub. it sounds terrific. i picked up this set at a home theater dealer for $475.00. but honestly, theres not a whole lot out there for that price range. I hear that Bose has some pretty good sound systems that are not too expensive.
