Someone told me once to heat sugar and lemon juice. Maybe it was just me...but I ended up with caramel rather than wax for my legs!

It looked and felt like good and it got really hard...to the point when I couldn't even lift it off the pan.

I have been waxing for a few years now and my suggestion for you is by the wax at beauty supply store (Sally's has good deals) and melt it in a pan at home.

I have a little microwave safe plastic container where I keep all my wax. I actually reuse my wax, meaning once I am done waxing I put all the little pieces back in the container and save it for next time. You might think it's gross to have those little hairs in the wax when you are re-using, but I don't mind. It's a lot cheaper that way and it works just as well.

Good luck!

You can't make wax at home but you can buy blocks of wax at drug stores and you melt it at home. If you are unable to buy it try buying wax strips so much easier and no mess! hope this helps
