YUCK! I know somebody who named their cat smokey!
If you go on google and go to boy cat names, or even boy names
It will give you a ton.
My fav. are from books. We had a few litters of kittens. I remember how fun it would be to name them. I loved to name them from kings or some royle name.

Or you could also do what my uncle did and name it Cat. Or dog..

Call it "Scalpel" or "Claw" after the weapons the Grey Mouser carried in the Fritz Lieber books
(OK the 2nd one is technically Cat's Claw but you don't need the cat's bit)
