A gift for a man that you want to bring into your life should always be something that he uses many times a day, so that he remembers you constantly.
I know this, because I am a man, and this trick has worked on me more than once.
An engraved item is a good choice, always, providing it is something he would carry with him always....... like a lighter if he smokes, or a cigarette case. A money clip, or something of that nature.

i'm married to a 47 year old. I'm 26 my advise is actually get him some flowers (roses and baby's breath) and a gift card at his favorite store... with the flowers send also a little note telling him you hope that things can get more involved

Keep it simple, you've been seeing each other for a month. Nice card and hershey kisses, or a cupcake with candle for just the two of you. Sweet and simple.
