Sprouts and Cauliflower!

I was abroad in my homeland once for my step-father's funeral and was rather stressed and upset. My aunt invited me for a meal at her house and asked me over the phone if there was anything I did not eat and I told her a couple of things - but forgot to tell her about cauliflower!!!

I duly went to her house and oh dear! She was boiling a whole cauliflower (between two of us!) and she boiled it to death.... Then she fried the whole thing in egg!!!

I feel sick just thinking about it! Plus I had a cyst in my stomach at the time which I did not know about so eating was incredibly painful and food that I did manage to swallow invariably came back!!

Liver, it's just so wrong and for so many reasons. There must have been some pretty hungry people to cook up a liver. Yuck.

Tripe - the neighbours dogs used to eat it and they licked my face once after their meal. I was wretching for hours.

(For those who don't know tripe is the lining of a cows stomach all gristle and tough tissue)

Crabs...they do taste good but the process involved in eating them makes them my least fave.
