If you choose to answer the question and you are an atheist. Prove with Logic why you don't believe. Do not give a reason. Give Proof. Make sure your proof can be added with some other logical argument that parallels. I.E. I can't see him - you can't see gravity but you believe in it. I.E. The Bible is false and nowhere else in recorded History - Evolution is false then because there is not recorded History of any evoluted plant or animal recorded in History.

The sparrow logic is an adaptation is not evolution. That shows a change in behavior not evolution.
Fossils/Dinosaurs is a record of existence but it does not show evolution into something else.
For the scripture answer of Jesus burning in Hell, provide it, otherwise you have no proof again.
If Atheisim is a lack of religion then why are u in religion topics?
Also I didn't say you couldn't come here in this section. I said if Atheists CHOSE to answer the question then provide some proof.
As I said before, Athiest ask for proof and logic but have none for themselves when asked directly. Just circular statements.

We were all given the light of Christ. Deep down inside, they know. They say there are no Atheists when a person is on his deathbed. They are going to try and use the excuse...Well, you didn't come down here and kick me in the butt, so I didn't know you really exsisted. So that is why I did what I wanted to and not the things you wanted me to do. They think they can justify not keeping the commandments. You gotta feel sorry for them.

As I have said a trillion times, ONE DOES NOT NEED TO BE RELIGIOUS OR SPIRITUAL TO TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE RELIGIOUS OR SPIRITUAL...
Here is some logical proof for you.
I say god doesn't exist because there is no evidence for it. Now, I know that lack of evidence isn't proof, but there is more.
I say that god doesn't exist because the attributes ascribed to him contradict each other...
It is not possible for a being to be all knowing, all powerful, and totally benevolent, and be the creator of this world....
Why? Because a perfect being that knows everything, and has only a desire to do good, cannot have been the cause of anything bad. And since we know for a fact that bad things happen every damn day, we also know that god could Not have been the ultimate cause of everything if he knew that these bad things would happen.
Furthermore, gravity CAN be seen. Look at black holes. Those have been observed, and those are nothing but extreme gravity wells. We can also test gravity, and rely on it every time we drop something. There's no doubt about gravity.
Also, we've seen plenty of species evolve. Besides the overwhelming fossil evidence, there are many LIVING species that have shown evolution. House sparrows have adapted to the climate of North America, mosquitoes have evolved in response to global warming, and insects have evolved resistance to our pesticides. These are all examples of evolution. Furthermore, BACTERIA evolves ALL the time. That's why our antibiotics are becoming less effective all the time. Viruses also evolve non-stop.
BY THE WAY: ATHEISM IS NOT A RELIGION!!! Atheism is LACK of religion. That's like saying HEALTH is a type of disease!!!

Fabian, I am an Atheist, and I additionally revel in speaking approximately faith. Just due to the fact that I don't purchase into the suggestions prescribed by way of any devout institution or faction, you expect that I have to hate the suggestions? One of the center matters that hyperlink so much atheists, aside from the truth that we quite simply don't feel, is that we're inclined to be given an international wherein there may be extra than simply black or white. Love and hate are 2 violent extremes at both finish of a spectrum of feelings, and I am afraid that religions have a tendency to polarise individuals into 'severe' reactions. I can provide extra mild perspectives, due to the fact that I don't sign up for any doctrine. I honestly discover the field really an satisfying one, due to the fact that like so much atheists, I have come from a devout coaching, and to arrive my gift state of brain, I researched my possess specific ideals really deeply, located them in need of, and moved on, however now not earlier than I then when compared my historical ideals to many different models. Because of this direction, you're going to discover that a resolution of atheists are honestly extra expert approximately religions than the fans of anyone cult/religion/creed as we're capable to evaluate suggestions with an impartial open brain. If YA created a bit only for Evangelical Christians, I could now not hassle to remark there, due to the fact that there is not any delight in speaking to a resolution of closed and slender minds, its due to the fact that this segment purports to symbolize the move component of one of a kind faiths, that I someday revel in writing right here, and studying different solutions. I by no means down grade others religions, however I do more commonly remark on contributors misconceptions approximately different faiths, and he inconsistancy of a few of thier arguments for thier possess religion.

I can't SEE gravity, but it does have a serious effect upon me. I can't see god, but then I don't know if he has any effect upon me or is it just evolution and the world as it is today. Did god make it?? Prove it. Does the world exist today?? Yes, I live in it. The bible is not exactly false, but rather a combination of stories changed over 4500 years - and that is proveable. Is it god's word?? Why did it change so much at the whim of everyone with an attitude and a quill pen. Did god authorize those changes?? Prove it. Were those changes made?? Yes, again it can be proved.

Gods is simply an unnecessary hypothesis. It explains nothing and gives no new predictions or information. Instead it serves just to obscure results.
Some of us are here to try to break some of the religious out of their cult style thinking.
Open your bible and start reading.
Keep a note book.
Every time it describes God make a note of the description.
At the end of it see if God is possible according to those descriptions. The descriptions often conflict with each other.
Now check them against the description of God that you were taught, the description your pastor believes, and see if those are possible with the bible description.
Is the God you believe in possible.
I know that you will not accept anything I say, but maybe you will accept your own bible and your own research.

I'm not an atheist, but atheists and I agree on a lot of points.
-Gravity can not be seen, but it can be tested in other means. It has different properties based on the mass of objects. The more mass an object has, the greater its force of gravity is.
-There is recorded history of evolution. It's called fossils. The more fossils that are found, the more evolution makes sense. It's like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.

Atheism is an OPINION on religion. That's why we are here. I know it would be much easier for you to jabber like a deranged maniac with people who will just agree with you, but we are entitled to give our view too.
EDIT: Sweetheart, it is impossible to prove the non-existence of something. Surely you are not so obtuse that you cannot see that? Your non-sensical (and entirely unoriginal) example of gravity is ludicrous. Newton realised that 'something' was causing the apple to fall to earth. He decided to call it 'gravity'. That's your proof, babe.
Anyway, I'm off to watch Sex and the City. It's so sinful. Whoo!

You know absolutely nothing about which you are speaking. And I'm here because despite what Christians think, one can be spiritual without being religious. And if you can't understand that, then I feel sorry for you.

No its up to you to prove this sky daddy exists. Anybody could claim something exists that you cant see so why should you're claims be any different.
If this god is supposed to be all powerful ask it to appear to all of us then. Shouldn't be too difficult for it should it? I wanna see with my own eyes.

You can PROVE the existence of gravity and its effects by scientific, documentable means that can be reproduced.
Unless you've got a God-gravimeter tucked in your back pocket somewhere, I suggest that you find a more correct analogy to back your argument.
