You need to feed them at different times and keep the other out of the room while one is eating. Also keep the food up, out of reach. Dogs are omnivores and cats are hervivores. Their nutritional needs differ and if they eat the wrong food all the time, eventually, you will begin to see health problems.

Take the dog treats away from her, and stick to cat food, the amount of protein is different for a reason. Dogs are omnivores, cats are obligate carnivores, and their metabolism is different to each other. There are certain nurtients both pets need that can't be found in the other's food. Feline diets are 40-50% protein, while dog food is around 30%. You may not immediately notice a problem, but in the long run you're doing the kitten no good feeding it dogfood, leave the dogfood for the dog, and stick to kittenfood for the kitten.

It's different. My cats do the same thing. Give someone else something different, and the cat will automatically think it's better or newer.
You'll want to watch your kitty, though. Dog food is not formulated for cats (Wow, there's a shocker. :P) and if your kitty eats mainly dog food for a long period of time, your kitty has a risk of going blind.
Good luck, but I don't really think there's a solution, other than feeding your dog somewhere the cat can't get to. (There's the tough part!)

Sometimes animals have a "grass is greener" view of things. They always want what someone else has. Maybe the cat thinks the fattier dog food tastes better or has a better shape or texture. Can you find a cat food with a similar shape/texture and smell? If not, then you may need to keep the cat and dog separated during feeding time.

My dog and cat eat each other's food all of the time. They each think the other has something better. I partially solved the problem by feeding my cat on top of my washing machine, but sometimes he knocks the food over so the shih tzu can get it! I have no real solution to the problem!

I had a cat that liked to eat the dogs food to get on the dog's nerves! LOL they were both doing things to get on each others nerves! But they did love each other. Really.
