Where can I find out, or do you know why my car shakes when I drive, especially the steering wheel. I thought it was the gas I used, but it's not the case. I'm gonna have to take it in tomorrow, but I'd liked to know what I'm dealing with here. I drive and I feel like an airplane going through turbulence. Thanks

Took it in this morning, Jess and Joe, so far you're both right. I get the final diagnosis in a couple of hours. Rotors are not that bad though and can wait. Suspension seems to be effected as car pulls to right. Thanks guys

Is it when it's running and not moving or driving? It could be your tire balancing. That's why the steering wheel shakes. It could also be your suspension.

If it's running rough at idle and while driving, it could be your fuel filter or a vacuum hose off.

check your tires for [baloons] or knots as they have a tendency in the heat to do so.
also have them rotated every thousand miles.
also have them balanced.
problem is definetely your tires..

i have a beetle, check your brake rotors, might be super rusty, may need new ones or need them to be turned down.

if your check engine light is blinking it is a misfire. most likely one of your ignition coils has failed.
