i was TYRING to burn a dvd, and my dvd shrink keeps failing in the middle...and then the dvd is no longer useable . I have gone thru 3 dvd that have failed on DVD shrink and it is starting to cost me money..any way i can erase the little bit that is on there?

DVD-R is a one time shot. Once info is burned on it, that's it.

DVD-RWs will work better for ya if your drive is capable of RW.. Unfortunately the burn time to re-burn a disk is considerably longer.

DVD-R Discs are single write only – this implies that once data or video is written on to the disc, it will not be possible to erase and re-write the disc

nah .. once you write it you are cooked. You might try getting some DVD RWs if you want to have that option.

I would look at the burner since if it is causing this problem, then you need to look into upgrading to a good DVD burner.....

ru sure u using a rewritable disc n its not been used rough .......... if ur usin a good one then check ur software is it coruptor ur comp hs a virus
