What is the easiest way to sell a car without a title?

I want to get rid of a 2000 Hyundai Elantra...A/C, Cruise, Power, needs body work ($250 deductible will take care of the damage) 4 door with sunroof. Will take best offer or sell off parts and engine.

Either get a replacement title (from DMV) or part the car out. Hyundai Elantras break all the time, so there is a demand for parts. The only problem is that there are very few of these still on the road, so the demand for parts will be pretty low. I believe you can sell the parts on E-Bay and reach more potential buyers.

In CT the DMV has a lost title form and for $25 you can get a new one. No big deal then sell it off.

Other than that, you can simply start taking it apart and selling it off on Ebay or to local shops.

Those are your only two options at this point sorry to say.

part it out cause without a title you can't sell it. You can however, go to the courthouse and apply for lost title if you have all the information. Then you can sell the car as is.

Why don't you have the title?

If you're a salvage yard, in many states you should not be reselling whole cars.

Can't be done. You need to go to your DMV to get a new title. You'll need some kind of proof that the car is yours, and you'll have to pay some fees.
