Of course they do as they will any country, America is no exception to sometimes having bad laws passed. But what does this have to do with Christianity. Aren't you on the wrong page. God bless you will be in my prayers. OO
Girl Wonder you are just silly. There are no laws against Atheist running for public office. Thank God we don't need them. If an Atheist ran for public office they would only get one vote. All the other Atheist would know how useless it would be to vote for him/her and not bother to waste their vote.

Not if you are a part of the justice industry in America, a muti-billion dollar industry that provides a comfortable living for many many people.
If you're just a regular citizen, then yes, many of the Draconian laws of the Land of the Free have a very detrimental effect on the country in general.

Laws are made by people and many are flawed. Why would you deny a dying person pain relief from marijuana? Why can't a terminally ill person choose a painless death (except in Oregon)? Why can't a gay couple marry just like straight couples? If the best pilot in the world was gay why can he be in the air force? There are plenty examples off backward laws.

Probably most of them do. But then, when one person's improvement results in another person's loss, let's hope the law will at least cause some hesitation, or lease offer a remedy after the fact.

Curiously and strangely enough, all the laws passed and policies framed by the present administration, especially on fighting wars overseas!

the whole entire system - our government is *** backwards. that's why there's so much crime going on. land of the free? we're all prisoners. people do what they have to to survive. to eat. to stay with shelter. no health insurance -- people getting sick and/or sicker -- some dying and can do nothing about it. there won't be no improvement until there is another president.

A law, in and of itself, does nothing. It is what people do with that law that matters.
