When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

He obviously admires you feel very flattered, but I agree with the others it's mind / emotional guilt games he is playing. You're the one who is single your business is'ent really his is it ? He has a girlfriend already and appears ready to cheat on her at the drop of a hat. Excuse me but is that really the sort of guy you want to go out with! It's a control thing I'm afraid don't fall for it. You can find someone worthy of your trust & love. Friendship is not an option at the moment maybe in 6 months time when he has calmed down a bit and behaves like a real friend would. You said it yourself infatuated nothing more ? is there? The fact that you're asking means you have doubts- listen to them.
I wish you well in whatever you decide.

If the relationship that the guy is in is not that serious girl turn on your sexy and get your man. Maybe he likes an angressive woman. Make him single so that he can be with you. That is only if the relationship he is in is not very serious. If it is then just be his friend support what ever desicions he makes and do not pressure him. Men do not like to be nagged. Ask were he stands with you and to be honest, once again do not pressure him. That will make things worse. The best way to make a man listen or to obtain one is to ignore them, not to the point were they do not think you are interested but to the point were you make them work for your love.

A man would not be with anyone else if he were truly attracted and interested in being in a relationship with you. The truth is, he is probably just being flirtacious with you. It is fun to flirt with someone, even though you are involved with someone else. If he is single, not married, then there is nothing holding him back from being with you if he really wanted to; obviously he chooses not to be. Either enjoy the mutual flirtation, or leave him alone and concentrate on a flirtation that could actually lead to a relationship...

Porbably not. He's taken and off limits. Just because he's doing some extra searching doesn't mean you should lower yourself to his level and participate. If he really loved you, the other girl wouldn't be an issue.

Maybe he slipped when he said if I was single and he's really married, but if you're 100% certain he's not married and just started dating someone else, he must already be really into her and only teasing you.

If he acts like this while in a relationship with someone else, means he will do the same to you with someone else.
If you can live with that then go for it.
