what do you think of raisins in spaghetti sauce?

I also thought about adding marbles as an alternative.

wouldn't that be funny?! you could put some funny stuff in spaghetti sauce....m&m's, orange slices, scrabble pieces would be fun, starbursts....maybe I'm alone in thinking this would be funny.
what would you put in your sauce?

I put candy crickets (not real ones!) in a pie once. It was hilarious to see expressions when people saw the little legs sticking out of the pie!

I explained they were not crickets, and totally edible since they were sugar, and everyone laughed!

I think that you better be careful if children are involved. Otherwise if it is just to make your friends and you laugh, it is funny. It could be really fun! As long as no one breaks a tooth on it either! I myself would not do it because I have children, but I do love to put olives in my sauce! Good luck and have fun!

My italian aunt was a great cook but she used to put raisins in her meatballs. No one else in the family, or any place I've eaten did that. Sweetest lady but, yuucckkk.

I don't think it would be tasty and you will probably ruin a good sauce too.
