Okay, stupid question: How are you posting this if you got arrested?
But in regards to your post, it might not seem fair to you, but your neighbour did have a duty to report your actions to the RSPCA. Bleaching an animal is very detrimental to their health, and the chemicals from the bleach could prove fatal to your dog. She probably didn't mean any harm; she was more than likely just concerned for the welfare of the animal. My mom used to put bleach in my first American Eskimo's bath water, but I never liked the practice simply because I think the scent of bleach is strong; imagine what the dog is smelling! If you wanted to get your dog clean and pretty, you should have looked into Lightening/Whitening SHAMPOO for your pet; they sell it at pet stores and many local supermarkets.

Why would you bleach a dog first off?! don't buy the dog if you don't like it's coat! you deserved to be investiagated by the RSPCA and told of the repurcussions but not arrested. She should have had a word with u first but that doesn't excuse ur behaviour towards the animal

do you really have to ask that question?
i hope they do their worst to you!!
bleach contains soudim hydroxide and is an irritant, this is to dissolve blockages in draines, if you can read english all bleaches come with large warning signs, and if u cant read english sniff it, stick your toung in the bleach, and when u get out of hospital you will no for sure just what ur dog went through!! sounds like the girl next door have done ur dog a favour.

Haven't you ever heard about cruelty to animals? Did you not know that there is a penalty for such a thing?
Did you think for a moment that the dog would have chosen to have itself bleached?
I guess you got what the law thinks is fair and I do too.

I'M sorry, I don't get it. Bleach the dog? Why? Did it have a stain? Or didn't it match your outfit? If you really did do this then I am glad you were arrested, were you charged? I hope so. However, I am not sure if you are only saying this to get people worked up, if so, are you sure you are OK?

yes it was, you should never bleach an animal, that's cruelty to the dog. Why did you do that in the first place, were you trying to brighten the dog's fur? You know there are safe shampoos you can buy that will do that.

yes, bleaching an animal may not be healthy for it, and the chemical may damage its fur which it needs, besides would you like someone to hold you down and dye your hair? If you want to do things like that then don't get a dog.

sweetie, your neighbor was wrong to do that to you depsite everyone here being so harsh on you. BUT you were wrong to even ATTEMPT that on your own. The bleach that professional groomers use to bleach the hair is different from ours. It is a VERY tedious process b/c the bleach can NEVER touch the skin. Pros do this on darker dogs so when they go to put other colors (e.i. red, blue, green, etc.) on them, you will actually be able to see the color. If you want your dog a special color, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seek out a qualified professional groomer. I can't even stress this enough. You could have seriously hurt your furbaby.

Dead right it was fair. That is no way to treat a dog. Its not like he can answer for himself is it. Why bother to get a dog in the first place if you can't look after it properly. :(

If I believed you that you really did such a heinous thing, I would say that it's good you got arrested, and hopefully some jailhouse justice.
HOWEVER, I do not believe you did any such thing, but like to see the reactions you get out of people.
So there.
