also a trendy name in Japan at the moment is to call your kid 'Genki' which means health/energy and, as you'd probably know if your studying Japanese, is used as 'how are you?' so it's a little strange and confusing.

For some reason I always thought it meant Tortoise. I'm not sure where I got that.
