Well would you prefer he tell the world? Acting like it didn't happen could be a signal that he didn't like it and would prefer to move on as if it never happened.

Theres a few things that it could mean:
1) It could mean that he's interested, but now after the makeout session, isn't sure how you feel and feels awkward bringing it up cause he doesn't want to deal with any potential rejection if you don't feel the same.
2) He's a player and is the kinda guy to make out with anyone he's attracted to at that point in time and then he moves onto the next.
3) He madeout with you and didn't like it and doesn't want to hurt your feelings by telling you the reason he's pretending it never happened is because he didn't really enjoy it.

You mean *he* acts as though it didn't happen? Well, you've heard of a one-night stand? I suppose that could apply for making out as well as sex. Just forget about him. He probably randomly makes out with girls and then moves on. I would recommend being more selective in the future.

Chances are that kiss would later on lead to sex. Unfortunately he looks at you as just a play thing, but someone he wouldn't even consider dating. Not a very nice thing to do to a person. If you want my opinion, just leave him alone and don't do anything with him.
